Mead Makers Short Course

What a special few days it was! The sold Out Mead Makers Short Course was an amazing venture into the world of mead. We started with a Honey Tasting, learned about nutrition and filtration, toured the campus LEED Platinum winery, tasted meads. Tasted more meads. Learned a bit about who the mead makers are and . . . It was terrific. thanks to everyone who attended and everyone who wanted to - we will be reading evaluations and seeing what kinds of educational programs we should hold in the future. Thanks to all of our presenters -- and the list is long! Faculty took time to research and create wonderful sessions. Our winemaker put together several batches of mead and began the scientific analysis. The folks here at the Institute worked non-stop. But it was really all of the attendees who brought more energy and excitement to our Sensory Building than we have seen in a long time. You were easy to work with, fun to get to know and even more fun to drink with on Friday evening.

Attendees: At the bottom of this page there is a link to the Power Point PDF's. We do not yet have the videos up - they will be coming soon. We are working on the way to create an option to 'sell' this link to those who were unable to attend. (Attendees will receive an email with the link, user name and password.)
