Honey Curried Pecans

Yummy and spicy. These are a REAL hit over and over.
Try this recipe with an assortment of nuts including filberts, walnuts and almonds.
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp Kosher salt
3/4 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp Honey
3 cups pecan halves (or other nuts)
Directions:
Combine the spices in a small bowl and blend well.
Melt butter and honey in a saucepan over medium heat. Add pecans and stir until coated. Add spice mixture and stir until evenly spread throughout the nuts. spread pecans in a single layer on a foil lined baking cheet.
Bake at 250 degrees until dry and toasted. 40 - 50 minutes.
Cool completely and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
 

Honey Rum Balls

EASY Holiday Favorite!
Ingredients:
3/8 cup dark rum
3/8 cup honey
2 cups ground vanilla wafers
2 1/4 cups chopped walnuts
3 Tbsp cocoa powder
cocoa powder and/or confectioner's sugar for dusting
Directions:
Combine ALL ingredients - rum, honey, vanilla, wafer crumbs, walnuts and cocoa powder
Shape into one inch balls. Roll in cocoa powder or confectioner's sugar.
Store in a tightly covered container. Keep cool.
Serve to very happy guests!
